Group 1 Meeting

There were a few interesting points that came out of the Group 1 meeting in Penola, reported Darren. The first one being that our club could nominate for a club citation by Rotary International in May. It was decided by the members present, that we would not meet the criteria for this and we are not going to apply.

 

Point 2 was that our club goals should be published on Club Central and that we need to develop a strategic plan for the club. This will be followed up in the future.

 

The 3rd and final point is in relation to the Rotary logo and its use. DG Lorraine sent all presidents a copy of the new Rotary logo, which is the gold Rotary wheel, with "Rotary" and your club name printed below it. It is to be used for all future advertising but current signage already in use, does not have to be replaced until needed. Darren has sent a copy of the new logo from Lorraine to all Casterton Rotarians.
