View the Melbourne Cup
There is a change of venue and format for next week's meeting, but a chance to do some good as well!
One of Sue Kilsby's interests is raising money for the cancer charity Relay for Life and now all Rotarians can help out too. As a major fundraiser for the charity a dinner will be held at the Casterton Football Club Rooms next Thursday and the Melbourne Cup will be on display. Pat Hyland, an ex jockey, is the guest speaker.
The cost is $45 per person for a two course meal. There will be about four auction items and some mock races to bet on.
All proceeds will be donated to the Relay for Life, Cancer charity.
Sue K needs to know as soon as possible if you or your partner will be attending . Tickets must be prepaid before the event and can be bought from Sue or at McNamaras, the Glenelg Inn or Bloomers. If you pay at one of these places please let them know you will be on Sue K's table.
